My day at the clinic ( Brief look at Patients Files )

09:05 Mr. Bourassé comes in, he is expected at 09:15, I see his name on the schedule at 09:15. After a warm good morning, he gives me his new phone number and his insurance policy information. Always using the mouse, I click on his name in the schedule, I choose « Patient File Update » and his file is shown.

I change his phone number and I click on the right button of the mouse, that shows the popup menu which enables us to access all sections of the patient data. I choose Insurance.

The data input screen for his insurance is shown and I choose which company and key in the policy's number.

09:20 The phone rings, a new customer ask for information. She would like to come for a visit today. My eyes are looking at the screen, I bring the mouse on the main menu in the top section and I choose « Schedule, Daily ».

The schedule screen is immediately shown and I offer her 10:30 which is available. She says ok. I key in the shortcut Ctrl+N which means New Patient File as you might have seen in the popup menu text shown here previously.

The patient file data screen is shown, I type his name and first name. His file is now created showing his identity and an identifier « NEW » or an automatically created file number.

I bring back the daily schedule screen with the shortcut Ctrl+Q (or the menu choice) and I click on the name field box of the corresponding 10:30 spot, which makes the patient search dialog box appear with the current patient seen, in this case the one we just created. All I have to do now is accept with the return key or OK button click, and his appointment is scheduled.

More and more I like this software application, easy and pleasant to use, fast access to all open dynamic and interactive windows.
